Morgan Huelsmann
Congratulations to senior Morgan Huelsmann, our Student of the Week for the week of December 2!  In his nomination, Introduction to Agriculture teacher Mr. Glenn Netemeyer stated, “Morgan is studious, quiet, attentive, and hardworking. In addition, she is a well-rounded student both academically and in band.  More importantly, she fulfills her responsibility to help her neighbor as much as she can. Finally, Morgan shows a high degree of leadership in her classes and with the Marching Knights, for who she served as a drum major.  For these reasons, I am very proud to select Morgan Huelsmann as Student of the Week!”  Morgan is the daughter of Michael and Karla Huelsmann and a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

 

Emma Timmermann
Congratulations to senior Emma Timmermann, our Student of the Week for the week of December 9!  In her nomination, art teacher Mrs. Vicki Moylan stated, “I am pleased to recognize Emma as our Student of the Week!  She loves her art class and works diligently on her artwork.  Outside of class, she took the initiative to complete a service project for the City of Breese.  Thanks to Emma’s hard work, Santa’s Hut has an improved interior with her paintings on the walls.  Thank you, Emma, for all you do!”  Emma is the daughter of Dennis and Pam Timmermann of Carlyle and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

 

Sarah Lipski
Congratulations to junior Sarah Lipski, our student of the week for the week of December 16!  In his nomination, Spanish teacher Mr. Joe McNamara stated, “One of the top Spanish III students at Mater Dei, Sarah exhibits a positive attitude and a strong work ethic every school day.  She participates actively in class, speaking, reading, and writing Spanish well beyond her grade level. Moreover, Sarah respects all of her classmates, as well as the faculty and staff.  Sarah es muy inteligente y muy amable.  (Sarah is very intelligent and very friendly).  Congratulations, Sarah!”  Sarah is the daughter of Frank and Gina Lipski of Highland and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
