Principal Dennis Litteken is pleased to announce that senior Alden Moss was selected to the 2020-2021 IHSA All-State Academic Honorable Mention Team. As the IHSA’s top academic honor, only 76 students in Illinois received recognition: 26 members of the IHSA All-State Academic Team and 50 members of the IHSA All-State Academic Honorable Mention Team.

Academically, Alden has enrolled in nearly every available honors-level college-preparatory course and possesses a 4.0 GPA (4.0 scale). In the past three years, he has received a total of twelve academic awards. Outside the classroom, Alden is a four-year member of our basketball team and golf team and a three-year member of our Academic Challenge in Engineering and Science (ACES) team and National Honor Society. Additionally, he was selected by our faculty as a Student of the Quarter, an award received by only twelve male students in the Class of 2021.

Alden, who plans to attend Creighton University, is the son of Phillip and Kelly Moss of Breese and a member of St. Dominic Catholic High School.
